01

The company

Leaders always look toward the future.

Addam Energy LLC-FZ is a privately held energy and industrial products company operating across the oil, gas and petrochemical supply chain. From our free-zone base in the United Arab Emirates we trade, supply and move refined products into markets throughout the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe.

The business was built around a straightforward idea: buyers of industrial commodities are let down far more often by logistics than by product. So we took the whole chain in hand — contracted refinery allocation at one end, our own transportation and inspection arrangements at the other, and a technical desk in between that reads your specification before anything is committed.

  • Divisions 7 — bitumen, base oil, fuel oil, fertilizers, sulphur, logistics
  • Product lines 31 supplied against written specification
  • Verification Production, loading and discharge — three independent points
  • Transportation Bulk vessel · ISO tank · container · inland road
  • Documentation Built to the letter of credit, not to a template

Why Addam

Five decisions that remove the ways a cargo goes wrong.

Allocation, not the spot market

We contract refinery allocation rather than buying spot, because a promise you cannot source is not a promise. That is what lets us commit to a programme months ahead.

Committed ahead of the season

Verified by someone with no stake

A certificate issued by the seller proves very little. Quality and quantity are established by an independent surveyor at production, at loading and again at discharge.

Documents built to your credit

We review the draft letter of credit before it is issued and flag terms we cannot comply with. A discrepant set delays payment and can cost the transaction.

Presented to clear first time

One desk, not a relay

Commercial, technical and operations sit together in one office. The person who reads your specification is the person who answers when the cargo is moving.

Answered within one working day

We decline what we cannot execute

Counterparties are screened, end use is established, and business is refused where the chain of title cannot be. It costs us volume occasionally and has never cost us a relationship.

Selected products

The lines buyers ask us for most.

Six of the 31 lines we supply, drawn from six divisions. Every one is sold against written specification, inspected independently and certified to the standard your contract names.

The full catalogue runs to 31 lines across 7 divisions — bitumen and its modified grades, base oil, marine and industrial fuels, crop nutrients, recovered sulphur, and the packing and freight that move them.

07

From enquiry to discharge, one accountable chain.

Step 01

Specification

You send the product, grade, quantity and destination — or describe the application and we work the grade out with you.

Step 02

Offer

A firm offer with the incoterm, packing, lead time and payment instrument set out plainly. Usually within one working day.

Step 03

Execution

Allocation secured, packing prepared, independent inspection appointed, and the document set built to your letter of credit.

Step 04

Delivery

Cargo or container moves on a confirmed schedule, with quantity and quality verified again at discharge.

Client view

What buyers say about working with us.

The grade arrived exactly as contracted and the document set cleared our bank first time. After two suppliers in a row that could not manage either, that is the whole relationship.

Insights

Notes from the desk.

Occasional writing on specification, packing and freight — the decisions that actually move the landed cost of a cargo.

Technical note

Choosing between an emulsion and a cutback

Where the application allows an emulsion, it removes the solvent, the vapour release and most of the application energy. Here is where it does not allow one.

What a discrepant document set actually costs

Drums, polybags or bulk: counting the disposal

Trimming excess air on a furnace oil burner
