When we established Addam Energy, the ambition was not to be the largest trader in the region. It was to be the one a buyer could rely on when the cargo genuinely mattered — when a paving programme was already mobilised, or a plant was running down its fuel stock.
That ambition shapes how we make decisions. We contract refinery allocation rather than trade the spot market, because a promise you cannot source is not a promise. We appoint independent inspection on every shipment, because our own assurance is worth less than a third party's. And we decline business we are not confident of executing, which costs us volume and has never once cost us a relationship.
Strategic partnerships and an experienced technical team have strengthened our position across regional and international markets, but the foundation has not changed. Professionalism and operational excellence are not a marketing position for a commodity supplier — they are the entire product.
