Addam Energy · Company History
Building energy excellence through consistency and trust.
Addam Energy has grown into an international supplier of bitumen, fuel products, base oil, sulphur and fertilizers. The route there was not dramatic — it was a series of cargoes delivered on the terms we promised, to buyers who came back.
Our journey
From regional trading to international supply.
The company began doing one thing: moving refined product to buyers who were being let down by their existing suppliers. Not on price — on reliability. Cargoes that arrived late, grades that did not match the certificate, documentation that failed at the bank.
That is an unglamorous problem to build a business on, but it turned out to be the durable one. As the volume grew we kept adding the pieces that removed those failure points: contracted allocation rather than spot buying, independent inspection on every shipment, retained samples, our own transportation arrangements, and a technical desk that reads the specification before anything is confirmed.
The product range widened the same way — a buyer who trusted us with bitumen asked whether we could supply their fuel oil, then their sulphur. Today the catalogue runs to 31 lines across 7 divisions, and the pattern has not changed: we add a product when we can supply it reliably and repeatedly, and not before.

The milestones that shaped us.
The company is established
Addam Energy begins trading refined petroleum products into regional markets, with a deliberately narrow range and a single commitment: deliver the grade contracted, on the date contracted, with documentation that clears first time.
Refinery allocation secured
Spot buying gave way to contracted allocation with producing refineries. That single change turned supply from something we hoped to secure into something we could commit to a buyer months ahead.
The range broadens
Bitumen, base oil, fuel oil, sulphur and fertilizers were added as separate divisions, each staffed by people who understood the product rather than a generalist trading desk covering everything.
Transportation brought in-house
Chartering, ISO tank fleets, drum and polybag packing and inland haulage were integrated into the offer, so buyers without a berth or shore tankage could still take economic quantities.
Global market reach
Long-term supply relationships were established across the Middle East, Africa, South and Southeast Asia and Europe, supported by inspection and documentation practices that satisfy the most demanding letters of credit.
A trusted industrial supplier
Addam Energy now supplies 31 product lines across 7 divisions, with the same operating principle it started with: the cargo arrives as specified, or we have not done our job.
Core values
The principles behind every partnership.
Quality Excellence
We hold a single standard across every product and every shipment. Consistency is what a buyer is actually paying for, and it is the thing that is hardest to fake over time.
Strategic Innovation
We adopt the operating methods and logistics solutions that measurably improve delivery — tank containers, meltable packing, digital documentation — rather than the ones that sound modern.
Trusted Partnerships
Transparent relationships with clients, suppliers and partners. We would rather decline a cargo than commit to terms we are not confident of meeting.
